QUILL - is sired by Lockhorn, out of Choya, by Don Quixote. He is believed to be the tallest and longest black Texas Longhorn bull in the industry. His 56" high horns, tip to tip, make him one of the biggest horned black bulls available today. He does many things for his progeny that Don Quixote did, except that he sires more height, length and horn. He has the small ear, trim underline and the big, bold Mexican appearance. Quil sires about 40% brindle and speckled calves, and about 60% black and black-speckled calves. Many breeders are using Quill as an antidote for lighter colored smaller cattle. His most famous son is Quorum.
